Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley forcefully rejected allegations of a U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigation during his appearance at Consensus 2025 in Toronto. The denial comes after Barron’s reported inquiries by the El Dorado Task Force into the crypto custodian’s operations.

McCauley confirmed company attorneys found no evidence of active investigations when verifying the claims. Neither Anchorage Digital nor DHS has issued official statements regarding the matter, leaving the financial community to weigh unsubstantiated reports against the firm’s strong regulatory track record.
